Last Chance Dog Rescue
Last Chance Dog Rescue

---------------------------------------------------

Specializing in ONLY saving dogs previously labeled 'unable to rehabilitate' or 'un-adoptable,' which are usually dogs from local shelters. These are dogs that other trainers have attempted to 'fix' but could not. These are only dogs who otherwise would have been euthanized or killed.

I take these dogs into my own home then Basic Obedience train them as well as completely re-habilitate them for whatever individual problem they may have been labeled with having [gratis], so as to give them every chance possible to communicate with humans properly, hence 'Last Chance' Dog Rescue was formed. Then, last but not least, I find the dog a GOOD home and offer the dogs new owner a couple of free private lessons as a thank you for adopting a dog from us. I normally check in with the dog and it's new owner once or twice annually thereafter.

We gladly accept donations of dog food, dog crates, and towels ... and/or accept monetary donations for dog food, dog crates, towels, spaying and neutering and vaccinations, etc.

-------------------------------

Last Chance Dog Rescue welcomes the opportunity to help you achieve your financial and philanthropic goals. For further information please see our Guide to Planned Giving.

-------------------------------

LCDR is always in need of foster homes for these dogs. Without foster homes these rescues just can't continue. Interested parties inquire via email.

-------------------------------

Please Note: Last Chance Dog Rescue a.k.a. LCDR will NOT be accepting any more dogs in for fostering and rescuing, not a single one, * NO exceptions *, for the remainder of this year 2012. I will re-evaluate this decision come Spring 2013. *** BUT I will be more than HAPPY to continue to re-habilitate dogs * as long as somebody else fosters them *.

Dog's Rescued -- IN NEED OF FINDING A GOOD HOME:

Chance

Chance is a 7 yr old Labrador Retriever, most likely Greyhound mix. All black in color, approximately 65 lbs, current on all vaccinations. Great with all people and kids of all ages. Gets along exceptionally well with all other dogs. Will lay out in the yard and bask in the sun for hours. Crate trained, Housebroken and Professionally Obedience Trained.

* Several months into fostering Chance he began having seizures. He is now on 3 different seizure medications that were prescribed by a Veterinarian. Even while on the medications he still seizures every once in a while. And associated with his seizures and usually only when they actually do occur, his rear hind quarters also becomes weak and wobbly.
